According to recent data and reports from Anadolu Agency (AA), the Antalya Free Zone (ASBAŞ) has concluded 2025 with a significant achievement in the global maritime industry. A total of 60 luxury yachts, custom-built by domestic and foreign firms within the zone, were successfully launched and delivered to their owners throughout the year.

This production volume reinforces Turkey’s standing as the third-largest yacht producer globally, trailing only Italy and the Netherlands. The region’s success is driven by high-quality craftsmanship and advanced infrastructure, including a 560-ton travel lift and an elevator system capable of handling vessels up to 90 meters and 2,000 tons. These investments have made Antalya one of the most preferred shipyards in the Mediterranean basin.

The AA report highlights that the yachts produced in 2025 were delivered to a prestigious international clientele across the USA, Russia, the UAE, Italy, the UK, and the Netherlands. While the largest vessel launched this year reached 60 meters, the region’s capabilities now extend to 90-meter projects. In addition to new constructions, Antalya has become a major hub for maintenance and refit, with 240 yachts serviced in the zone to date.

As the industry continues to set new benchmarks in engineering and design, we at Azurine Yachting fully support these developments. This record-breaking growth in Antalya’s production and refit capabilities aligns with our commitment to excellence in the maritime sector, and we take pride in witnessing the global rise of our region’s craftsmanship.
